But generally students neglect their academics in the fresher year, but the fact is that our first year is the precious time where you can lay down a firm base with ease for a bright future and hence bring you closer towards your destination.

Before you begin, you must know your syllabus and the pattern of semesters.

So let's know about the semesters and the books which can be beneficial for you. Here at BIT Sindri, within each semester we have to give 2 mid semesters and one end semester, with some, practicals and vivas.

There are a lot of books for every subject, but the one that are essential and mostly used are here. Since many of you are aspiring CAT/GATE/MAT , hence we have also put some books for these exams too.
